Poem of the Day: I Threw a Baseball

I THREW A BASEBALL
by
Gregory K.

I threw a baseball into the air.
If fell to Earth I know not where.
And so you see, I can't explain
What happened to your window pane.

Yeah! Now that's what I'm talking about. Little blog solidarity from the Fibman. Thanks for playing. You're a good SPORT.

Because of my MAS (Math Aversion Syndrome) I can't say I'm a big fan of Fibs but I do enjoy your daily poems. You should see how much longer you can keep up the one a day pace. After a couple of months you'll have enough poems for the next great book of humorous poems. You can call it something like "The Missing Piece that Fell Up the Giving Tree at the End of the Sidewalk" or something like that.

My newly seven-year-old the baseball fiend loved this one. And at least I know you didn't give him any ideas that aren't already lurking in his brain lol.

Thank you Gregory. I enjoy the sweetness of this. There's some sweetness/childhood/simplicity theme that I find soothing. Somewhat in the same way that I find "Make Way for Ducklings" soothing.
