Oooh! You can vote for me!
I'm locked in a tight March Madness poetry battle in the round of 64. My poem Wake Up Call is up against tough competition... but I'm cute and nice and all, and I'd love you to check it out and vote for me. (Voting closes Friday at 6-ish PM Pacific time, so don't delay! And if you vote for Dave, I'll still love you.)
There is a TON of great poetry going on at Ed DeCaria's March Poetry Madness. You can read it all and vote for lots of contests still going on. It's a really fun event, and whether I advance or not, I know I'll be reading 'til the end.

I can't remember who I voted for...but tomorrow I'm posting my second poem on "sojourn"for Poetry Friday...the one that didn't make it to TKT! I hope you voted for me! Sojourn-8. Pretty foxy poem, if I do say so myself. Seriously, I think I voted for you...
Ed had such an awesome idea. So many poets having such a good time and not for any huge prize, but for the love poetry.
I did vote for you, Greg. Great poem. It was much fun. I lost to Donna Martin, but it was a race! As you said, I'll still keep reading!
Donna, Susan, and Linda - I thought all three of you nailed your words, too. So many people are, though, it makes it brutal. I mean, how can I urge anyone to vote "against" Dave's limerick??? I can't.
Good luck out there, and thanks for stopping by!
