I'm just curious how many, if any, of y'all do any sort of reading on your smartphone (iPhone, Blackberry, Droid, Palm, whatever).
There was an interesting article in the New York Times the other day about this very thing... yet I don't know people who are reading like this. Then again, I'm a writer, so I don't get out much.
Anyone reading on their phone? Liking it? Hating it? I'm curious!

I read books on my iphone - both purchased through ereader and classic books out of copyright available through various apps.
I didn't think I would like the small screen at first, but I found it didn't really matter to me. I also like having them on my phone and with me all the time because I tend to open them up during my normal day when I'm traveling or waiting - something that keeps me from purchasing a dedicated ereader because I wouldn't want to carry around something extra.
Yes. I've used with several apps on the iPhone and read classic literature that I never got around to before. It's good on a plane when you don't want to pack books, might not have internet access, and have no interest in buying from the skymall.
It's not the best reading experience due to screen size, but it's workable and the content is the important thing.
I have tried to read on my palm but I don't like it much. I also tried reading on the iphone and even with the bigger screen I don't like it. For me it has to do with being backlit. I just carry a book around with me or use the ereader I have. I can read blogs via bloglines on it as well so it is worth it.
