Hey... I know that guy!

Over on The Write Marbles site, they've got an interview with some guy talking about rhyme, Fibs, and a school library. Hey, wait a second... that's me! By all means go check it out, and here's hoping I made sense!

Great interview, Greg! Good advice all around, especially the part about eating chocolate! And you're right about reading picture books out loud to kids - it's a great way to get a feel of what works and what doesn't. One of my older (and not surprisingly out-of-print) titles is full of beautiful lyrical language...but it never grabs the kids when I read it out loud because there's no strong plot. I've discovered kids want something to happen in the story...and I guess I do too when I read a book, picture book or otherwise.

Let us know when the MATH magazine interview comes out!
