We had to have our cat Abby put to sleep in early April. She was old, had a heart murmur and congestive heart failure. She had been with us for almost sixteen years. Both my husband and I miss her presence. I wanted to write a poem about her--and the Fib seemed the perfect poetic form for what I wanted to express:
Cat Soft Furry Purry friend Cuddler on the couch My comforter curled beside me
