I wish I could correct my work -
It makes my poor brain ache.
See, I used my pink eraser...
And that was my mistake!
One of the things I love about Poetry Friday (and hey... you can see a roundup of today's posts over at Mainely Write) is that from time to time, you can throw things out there and find out if they make sense to anyone but yourself. This is one of those times for me :-)
If you want to get all my new poems (and only the poems) emailed to you for freeee as they hit the blog, enter your email address in the box below then click subscribe!
I *think* I get it... hard to correct something written in eraser. Kind of like invisible ink. (I think I may know the kid who would do this -- I might be his mother!) :)
ReplyDeletehee-hee! =)
ReplyDeleteGood to hear from you again, Greg.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the reminder that I can underline words in a poem for emphasis. I seldom use underlining and it works so well in this poem. Yes, it is funny.
Ha! Isn't it strange when something can strike you so funny, yet the people around you have these tentative, questioning looks?
ReplyDeleteMake no mistake - cute poem, most definitely written by a "boy"!
